Rawai Beach and Naiharn Beaches make up two of Phuket island's most southern communities. Although simalar in some way each area has its own differences. Some of the most pleasant roads leading to this part of the island are over the hills south of Kata Beach where there are several very worthwhile stops at view points, small beaches, or even Cape Phromthep lighthouse. Reaching this area by more direct routes from the north would be to use the Bypass Road and head south toward Chalong, then continue south to Rawai Beach, where throughout the many small sois and roads are great choices for rental villas, resorts, and wonderful restaurants.
